HUNGER GAMES 30 DAY CHALLENGE: DAY 1 (SPOILERS AHEAD) My Favorite Character: Rue How can I explain my love for Rue? When she died, I burst into tears, put the book down and took a shower. Just like Katniss, I was instantly drawn to her because of my own younger sibling. Both Prim and my brother (at the time) were both 12 and when Rue died, I couldn’t help but imagine my own little brother passing. She really represented the innocence of children, the cruelty of the capital and just how much ass a small person can kick.
