HUNGER GAMES 30 DAY CHALLENGE: DAY 20 (SPOILERS AHEAD)
Your Least Favorite Pairing: Cato and Clove
Careers. Arrogant and violent, I never cared for Cato or Clove. Obviously they weren’t meant to be likable characters, but out of any pairing, I could probably say I like them the least. Neither had many good qualities except that they could fight and make it far in the games.

Favorite Pairing: Peeta and Katniss
I’ll admit I was a fan of these two throughout the series, but I was never totally against Gale either. Peeta and Katniss worked together because they weren’t too similar, as opposed to Katniss and Gale. Although some may say their relationship had somewhat of an artificial start, I think Katniss had a fondness for Peeta, even if she wouldn’t admit it.

Song That Reminds You Of The Series: Safe & Sound
This might be a little bit a little too easy, but this song really captures the atmosphere of the of novels…as it should. I know everyone isn’t a Taylor Swift fan, but her collaboration with The Civil Wars is rustic and filled with some of the series greatest themes: War, fire, children and protection.

The Worst Death: Cato’s Death
It was brutal and pretty gruesome to read about. I mean, Katniss had to shoot him through the eye just to get it over with. Even Cato didn’t deserve to go out like that.

A Question You Wish Had Been Answered: What the hell happened to Gale?
The one aspect I’ve always found a little lacking in Mockingjay was Gale complete disappearance. We know what he’s doing, but he never comes back to see Katniss. It felt like there was a missing conversation between Katniss and Gale. They were so close throughout the novel and then…nothing. I know she blamed him from Prim’s death, but you’d think they might talk once more.

Your Least Favorite Tribute: Cato
Brutal, career and although I’d admit he was a fierce competitor, it was easy to dislike him. It could have been the way he was written, but he had very few admirable traits.

Your Favorite Tribute Besides Katniss or Peeta: Rue or Johanna
I’ve already mentioned how much I like both of these characters. When it comes to being a tribute, however, I like both of their tactics in the arena. They both had significant advantages and really helped Katniss get through the games.
